Roles of alignment:

• The glue, makes organizations run smoother (OKRs, avoid rework, effective communication and cooperation)
• Alignment on the purpose of the task boosts motivation, because ‣. To align on the purpose, Ask series of "Whys" about a solution.
• Joy of working towards the shared goal (which also becomes a motivation in itself)

Alignment helps to avoid pluralistic ignorance.
