First, Looks for places in the book you don't understand.

Ways to sink in a proposition (that is, to Think critically):

• Rephrase it in different words.
• Translate it to different language => translate your book notes.
• Point to your experience which the proposition describes or to which the proposition is in any way relevant.
• Come up with examples.
• Try to refute the proposition.

Reciprocal writing practice: Highlight key sentences in your writing.
